The course will allow you to utilise the increasingly available duplex ultrasound.
It will allow you to make rapid diagnosis of the pathology and allow to speedy and appropriate treatment to be instigated for conditions including:
- Focussed Abdominal Sonography for Trauma (FAST)
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
- Hydronephrosis
- Pneumothorax/ Haemothorax
- Septal wall akinesia
- Deep vein thrombosis
